Publisher Policy

The Journal of Modern Philosophical Studies (JMPS) follows the principles outlined below, designed to ensure the accurate, fair, timely, and ethical publication of scientific articles. We encourage editors, reviewers, and authors to follow key practices and standard protocols. Our authors, editors, and readers will gain from these policies as we work towards creating a publishing process characterized by transparency, trustworthiness, and efficiency. The editorial board, in collaboration with the publisher, holds responsibility for the journal and its policies. Any inquiries related to individual articles or overarching policies should be addressed to the editorial board. The executive editor reviews all potential cases that are reported to it or that come to its attention. In various situations, it will be necessary to engage the authors' institutions, and at times, the appointment of independent experts may be required. The editorial board will provide guidance to institutions, advising them to recognize and address any ethical concerns that may arise. While most cases are resolved before the publication stage, there are some that are connected to articles that have been published. If our investigations conclude that no action is necessary, it is our standard procedure to refrain from issuing any public statements regarding the investigation. If our inquiries reveal that action must be taken regarding a published article, this will be clearly indicated in the published record. The publisher is dedicated to ensuring the continuous availability and preservation of scholarly research, facilitating access through collaborations with various organizations, and maintaining an independent digital archive. We conduct regular assessments of our editorial policies.

Our commitment is to deliver superior-quality content and services to both our readers and authors. If there are any concerns or complaints regarding an article that has appeared in our journal, we provide a well-defined and transparent process for the handling of appeals and complaints. If you have a complaint about an article that has been published, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Your complaint will be acknowledged, and it will be assigned to the designated person or committee for thorough investigation and resolution. The analysis will be executed diligently, fairly, and within a reasonable period. We will keep you informed about the developments in the investigation and will work to provide you with a timely response. Upon the conclusion of the investigation, we will furnish you with a clear and succinct summary of the findings and any actions that were executed as a result. If the findings of the investigation do not meet your expectations, you possess the right to appeal the decision rendered. We greatly value your input and are resolutely focused on perpetual improvement. A conflict of interest is identified when the author's financial or personal ties might influence their actions in an inappropriate manner. It is mandatory for all authors to provide a written statement regarding any conflicts or the absence of conflicts when submitting their articles. It is essential to disclose any sources of complete or partial funding, as well as other forms of support for the research. The Journal reserves the right to utilize information provided in conflict of interest and financial interest statements to inform its editorial decisions. All authors must have engaged sufficiently in the work to bear public responsibility for the content. It is recommended that authors engage with co-authors from a range of backgrounds or experiences, as this collaboration can introduce different viewpoints and authentic experiences that will contribute positively to their work. It is required that all authors provide a signed declaration acknowledging their responsibility for the manuscript submitted. The journal strongly advises that no changes should be made to the order of authors or to the list of authors, whether by addition or deletion after the manuscript has been submitted. Any contributors who do not qualify for authorship must be mentioned in the Acknowledgements section. In order to facilitate comprehension and offer context, writers may occasionally utilize images or quotes that reflect historical circumstances. Alongside our authors' commitment to ensuring that language and imagery are used appropriately and contextualized historically, we request the incorporation of cultural warnings and sensitivity statements at the abstract level, when deemed necessary. This will ensure we are giving adequate notice of sensitive content before it is seen by our readers. These warnings will be integrated into the table of contents during the editing and typesetting stages. The transparency of published articles in our journals provides a variety of advantages, such as enhancing the visibility of individual contributions, aiding in the resolution of disputes, supporting the evaluation of research, monitoring outputs, and identifying potential collaborators. Furthermore, it assists in addressing author conflicts, offers a detailed perspective on research contributions, and fosters research networking.

The journal prioritizes the integrity and impartiality of the research and publications presented to our readership. So at this moment, we are not accepting any form of advertisement, which includes products, services, and events relevant to the subject matter of our journal. Our Journal's editorial team is resolutely focused on preserving a high standard of editorial integrity while actively working to mitigate any potential conflicts of interest that may emerge from the acceptance of advertisements. We are confident that this policy strengthens our pledge to offer our readers research and publications characterized by objectivity and neutrality. Additionally, we do not associate any advertisements with our content or the behavior of our readers, nor do we randomly display advertisements on our website. Prior to publication, authors receive proofs of their articles for review, and these will be communicated electronically. At this stage, the authors may execute only the essential minor modifications and are required to address any questions marked for their response. Authors are able to download their works in PDF format from the website. An electronic copy of the article will also be forwarded to the author's email. According to the feedback provided by reviewers and in adherence to the journal's policies, manuscripts that do not meet publication standards will be rejected. The corresponding author will receive notification of the rejection, along with relevant feedback from the reviewers, if applicable. The archiving process within our journal guarantees that its content is safeguarded for future generations, thereby making it available to researchers across the globe. Through the promotion of transparency in research, our journals significantly enhance the quality of the publications they feature. We are focused on the preservation of its content and the facilitation of public access. Journals promote a policy of double-blinded peer review and require multiple reviewers for every published article. Expert referees are expected to deliver unbiased and constructive feedback to enhance the quality of the work. Editors have the responsibility to ensure the quality of the materials they publish, taking necessary actions to uphold the integrity of the publication. This journal only accepts submissions that have not been previously published and are not simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere. Our journals advocate for the implementation of designated copyright, which is accessible on the journal's pages.
