Yu Zhonggen, Named Top 2% most cited scientist in the fields of Education, Information Systems, and Social Sciences by Stanford University (2009-2023), born in China, is Professor, PhD/post-supervisor in English Linguistics, Beijing Language and Culture University, Juris-master of Tsinghua University, Master of Foreign linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Southeast University. His research interest includes educational technology and translation. He authored over 180 papers in SCI, SSCI, A&HCI, CSSCI and other important journals, and 4 monographs. He edits numerous reputable international journals. He has presided over and completed the Chinese Academic Translation Project of National Social Science Fund, Youth Fund project of Humanities and Social Science of Ministry of Education, Social Science Fund Project of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province, "Undergraduate Teaching Reform and Innovation Project" of Beijing Higher education, and numerous municipal and university-level projects. He is a distinguished reviewer of many SSCI-indexed journals, such as "Computers & Education", an authoritative journal in intelligent foreign language teaching. He has participated in many teaching competitions and won many national, provincial and university awards such as the first prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Hohai University in 2016 (ranked first). In 2018, he was selected as the third-level training object of the fifth Phase "333" Project in Jiangsu Province. He won the first prize of Information Teaching Competition of Beijing Language and Culture University in 2019. In 2020, he was awarded the "Star of Intelligent Teaching" by the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education.
